The Motorpoint Arena

Having photographed gigs and concerts for many years at The Motorpoint Arena , when the company opted for a complete overhaul and rebrand I was asked to photograph all the ways in which the venue had modernised and evolved. New restaurants and bars were built, exciting food menus dreamt up, conference rooms redecorated for hire, luxury VIP experiences for concert goers designed and innovative ways in which the arena could transform in to exhibition and presentation spaces needed photographing. This was obviously a long and on-going process that took place over a couple of years. The goal was to create a set of images that presented the arena as a sleek, modern venue space that has a whole host of  uses and possibilities  in contrast to it’s previous image as a faded concert venue.
